What up, ya'll. XD

So, at my school, we have something called a "senior project". As in, when you're a senior, you have to do it or YOU DON'T GRADUATE EVER. It's very stressful. There are a million forms and papers and components and if you screw one thing up you have to backtrack twenty steps and rethink your entire high school career. Stressful.

In simple terms, the "project" requires you to "take your experiences in high school and use them to complete a project that will showcase your passion, skills, and personal growth in a manner that is beneficial for the school and community". This could be a lot of things. According to our counselors. Really, it means that you can do WHATEVER you can think of as long as you can convince the Senior Board that you're benefiting the community. Personal development, yeah, that's secondary. I personally think they just want something back after dealing with us for four years.

What does that mean for Blinky?

It means writing a play.

Why? Well, it's a combination of my two greatest passions - writing and theatre. Why else? Because it could be one of the only times in my life when I could write a play without a serious repercussion, like failing a class or starving in a box. So I'm GOING FOR IT.

What does that mean? It means to expect a lot of scraps - rough drafts, idea treatments, etc. Hopefully one will come up tonight. For those who watch and care, I'd seriously appreciate your input. I'd...I'd like to be good at this. It'd be a kickass career.

IN THE PERFECT WORLD WHERE BECCA DOESN'T PROCRASTINATE *twitch* you'll be getting your first taste tonight when I do my idea treatment. =3 So keep an eye out.
